Abstract

Psychological defense mechanisms are supportive pads that are manifested in various behavioral, mental and speech forms in human beings during internal disturbances and thus, while reducing nervous stress, help to restore psychological balance to individuals; In the meantime, the defense mechanism of happiness or humor is one of the psychological defense mechanisms, the speech manifestation of which is manifested more than anything in the form of a kind of humor called "black humor" in which the mind, due to the intensity of bitter and painful events. The language and speech of the individual subconsciously uses the speech structure of humor to express concepts; In the meantime, the book Zaidari's Nafcat al-Masdour is one of the prose works of the Mongol period, which, despite implying bitter and horrible concepts such as murder, rape, insecurity, etc., has many traces of humorous speech in its rhetorical and linguistic structure. It hypothesizes that the narrative style of this work is consistent with the principles and definitions of black humor; For this reason, in this article, which is analytical-comparative, an attempt has been made to analyze and analyze its linguistic and rhetorical structure based on the theoretical foundations of black humor, using various evidences from the book Nafcat al-Masdour. The findings of this study indicate that the narrative style of Nafcat al-Masdour has an approach of black humor that uses components such as: metaphor, irony, simile, exaggeration, contradiction, joke and satire, all of which have traces of humor; It's formed.
